Seth Takes Us To The Zoo

We had a great day with Seth at the Portland Zoo.

It was "dress up as your favorite book character" day at Luke, Lydia, and Ians' school.  Luke was Dogman, Lydia was Matilda, and unfortunately there's a learning curve on my new lens so I didn't capture Ian's adorable image but I believe he was Mr. Batman.  

And Seth is Seth.

Davin's Blessing, 2017

There was plenty of "please pass the baby" this week-end--we all got some snuggle time with sweet Davin Gray Spratling.  I am so grateful for the family and the efforts they made to all be here for Davin's blessing.

January/February 2017, Snowiest Ever

My first dog photoshoot.  It's as tough as 2-year-olds.  But he was cute.  And as usual I learned stuff I would do differently next time.  I attended a CreativeLive workshop in Seattle last week.  After class we visited the Space Needle; I hadn't been there in ages.  I remember going with my Grandma when it was the World's Fair but I was too chicken to ride to the top.  This time I wanted to but Dave has this "heights phobia".  

And then there's the snow.  And more snow.
