Fluffy Hair Week

We started off the trip with Taegan's baptism.  It was a super baptism except for the first speaker was a little wacky. This picture kind of reflects some personalities, I have to laugh every time I look at the character on the right.

It wasn't an ideal day for photography.  Darn that bright sunshine and 80 degree weather.

Here is proof of great white sharks and mermen at Huntington Beach.  Kudos to Grandpa for taming that boogie board.

This was right before the pelican attacked Taeg.  I've never seen her move so fast.Morning routine.

Karsten karate kicking.  Does this one work, Shelly?  Floating Head.

 Langdon in attack mode.

I rode most of the rides, only pooping out on the hang gliding simulation.  The warning sign at the beginning got to me.  It was a fun week, spent with Travis, Melissa, and kids.  Oh, and Grandpa.  Who pooped out on riding this one again since his "leather shoes got wet".  We mocked him.  Next time, everybody goes?!!!

FOURTY YEARS

40 years of wedded bliss!  Well, mostly wedded bliss.  Thanks family, for all showing up; and planning for and paying for and allowing babies to miss their naps for and braving Portland traffic for.  Hope you enjoyed the day as much as we did.

I just couldn't figure out how to remove the rest of the pole without chopping up Eric and Tony.  So, everybody has to figure out a way to get together in the near future for another try.  And why didn't somebody fix my bangs?!!!!

Langdon Lake Shenanigans

Hey Taeg, do you think they noticed?

DINNER

Checking for Deadness.

Needing a second opinion.  More Checking.

After more consultations, it was determined the trout was definitely dead.  And dinner worthy.

Lifeguard duty.

 Clean-up crew.

Fun day with almost all my favorite people.

Week-end in Pendleton

When people visit our house, we make them forage for their own food.  We provide the mulberry tree, but then you're on your own.

And we don't even provide wipes to clean up.  Here's the hose, go for it.

And then the torture continues when I demand a group picture.  Immediately everyone starts plotting their escape route.

And you WILL smile, Henry.

And you must perform some kind of circus trick before you get any cake.  Fun day.  Maybe next time the lamp shade dancing family can come.
